A Correction on the Review Part of “Analyzing the Autobiography of the Old Man Qi Baishi by Computer ” Fan Xiang ， Shunshan Zhu Abstract In the article “Analyzing the Autobiography of the Old Man Qi Baishi by Computer” ， there were several false expressions and claims in its review session. The article stated that Cultural Analytics developed software ImagePlot which was applied on the Thomas Walther Collection ， and our online visualization project AwardPuzzle used tools and methods invented by Lev Manovich ， in fact ， both statements were wrong and groundless. Moreover ， there were two other incorrect propositions in the article ， one concluded the achievement of AwardPuzzle was less sophisticated ， another one said Manovich ’s current visualization projects were focusing on online data due to the difficulties of data collection. This paper is trying to correct above biased statements using facts ， artistic motivation and common data knowledge ， strong evidences were shown to deny t
