The effects ofwater binder ratio, casting temperature and alum inum powder content on the gas form ing behavior, and those of lead zinc tailing content, cement content and conditioning agents on the compressive strength of the aerated concretewere investigated. Optmi al raw material formulation and procedure were determ ined for the aerated concrete. The compressive strength and frost resistance of the aerated concrete m ade by the optmi al raw material formulation and procedure conform w ith the requirements of aerated concretes of B06 grade, and thermal conductivity, drying shrinkage and radioactivity conform w ith the relevant national standards of China.
