To welcome employee contributions in all areas of our strategic plan : Customer Loyalty Employee Loyalty Business Results Leadership Process Improvement * Objectives (cont’d) The program can also be used to solicit specific ideas on environmental issues, energy saving or any other areas as appropriate. Employee contributions can be categorized by : Ideas for own division / department Ideas for own hotel / resort Questions concerns about policies, procedures or behaviour that may be inconsistent with our Strategies, Philosophy or Guiding Principles Ideas for my company, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts 5 Program Name Each hotel / resort may use a program name which best suits their own environment and culture. Suggestion (not mandatory): A naming competition can be organize to arouse attention and also to encourage participation right from the start as this will be their program. 7 Program Launch Appoint a “Champion” at ExCom level to drive the results. The champion need not be the Director of Human Resources. (Re)launch at the State of the Hotel Meeting to show how the program aligns with the Vision, Strategy, and Guiding Principles. 9 Program Launch (cont’d) Promotion and Communication : Program notice board is to be placed at high profile location in Heart of the House. Posters are to be put up in each department, at the employee entrance and adjacent to program ‘mailboxes’ Program forms are to be placed in prominent perspex holders in every department Distribute program forms with the payroll slip immediately
