地点介词(B)本课中我们将学习更多地点介词方面的单词，包括behind， in front of，between和above。 介词是句子中连接其他单词的词，尽管有时它们不止一个单词（例如 in front of）。地点介词 表示出一个物体和另一个物体的关系例如 The chair is behind the desk. 介词典通常和其他单词组成介词短语，包括一个介词和一个宾语 （通常是个名词或是代词）加上一个或多个形容词。例如near the big round table; above the filing cabinet Above, Below Above和below通常描述两物体之间垂直位置上的不同， 而不互相接触。介词 above用来描述某物比另一物体的位置高。 例如 Her room is above the kitchen. 介词below用来表示在另一物体之下或更低的位置。 例如The bed is below the shelf. In front of, Behind In front of和behind描述一个物体比另一个物体离得要近。两物体可能或可能不接触。介词in front of用来描述某物在另一物体对面，比另一物体近或在另一物体之前。例如The man stood in front of me. 介词behind用来描述介词典相对 较远，或在后面。例如 The chair is behind the desk. Beside, Next to, By介词by， beside，和next to用来描述在某物体旁边或边上。 By 也可以表示靠近 或是在。。。。 例如 The lamp is beside the bed. Come sit beside me. The printer is next to the copier. The computer is next to the phone. She is standing by the door. The kids are playing by the pool. Between, In the middle of介词between和in the middle of用来描述中心的 或是中间的位置。Between描述两个物体的中间的位置。例如Pisa is between Milan and Rome. The desk is between the door and the window. In the middle of描述更大空间或物体之间的中心位置。例如 Madrid is in the middle of Spain.
