Just sit back for a moment and think about the topic, and write down any ideas that come to you. These may be things you have read in newspapers and magazines, things you have heard in classes or on television, or personal experiences. Here are some brainstorming techniques that may help you to go through the stage. (1). Free-writing This technique simply requires you to write freely about a topic. You put down on the paper whatever comes to mind.
