Its owner, the Ortegas know that it could be more profitable if it was better organized. A consultant of us has done a study of the agency and recommends reorganization in the following three areas 1. management structure; 2. office layout; 3. working conditions. The proposal gives some solutions for the three areas: 1. Fine-tune management structure, redefine some mangers’ job functions. Decrease General Manager’s workload. 2. Change the office layout for comfort and better communication. Add the smoking room, wheelchairs access, canteen, crèche facilities. And change offices of some departments’ staff. 3. Formulate corporate culture system to improve good impression on staff. Such as Director open email, incentive payments, provide some opportunities and flexitime for some excellent staffs. The proposal introduces the background of Faredeal Travel Agency firstly. Then problems will be arouse and analyzed. And finally there will be our recommendations. Background Faredeal Travel agency was founded by its owner, Claudia and Manuel Ortega. It is now one of the largest travel agencies in the City, the financial center of London.
