They will work under a one-party, totalitarian police state which closely monitors a state-owned news media designed to suppress the bad news and exploit the good for the benefit of the Communist Party of China. A long-time American journalist writes of his experience teaching in an English-language journalism program at a Chinese university and his search for an answer to that question.
