T. Hall , an American anthropologist and linguistics. Proxemics designates studies dealing with the differing perception and inter pretation of spaces and its influence on communicative behavior in various cultural sphere . Interpersonal space reveals not only the relationship and p sychological state but also the national and cultural features of the communicators. This paper gives a brief introduction to Proxemics and then deals with cultural diversity of interpersonal space in an attempt to better intercultural communication .
