Unit6The Story of Rain第二课时教学案例 一、教学内容分析 本课教学内容是PEP教材六年级上册第六单元ALet’s read以雨的形成为主题的科普说明文。 二、教学对象分析 本课教学对象是小学六年级学生，他们已学了六年英语，有了一定语言知识积累，掌握一定的语言技能，对英语学习有浓厚兴趣，他们有能力进行自主学习，合作交流，能积极主动参与课堂活动。 三、教学内容 1.知识目标：能够简单叙述小水滴的旅行经历。 2.能力目标:通过阅读进一步熟悉水循环的过程。 3.情感目标:增进学生了解自然，保护环境，热爱科学的意识。培养学生自主探究，合作学习的个性品质。 四、教学重难点 重点：叙述小水滴的旅行过程。 难点：通过阅读，进一步理解水循环过程并能作简单说明。 五、教学过程 I.Warm-up/Review 1.Greetings What’s your name? How are you ? What day is it ? and so on. 2.Let’s chant First the sea, Then the sun, Next the clouds, The rain has fun! First the rain, And then the sea, Next the sun, Then clouds over me. （设计意图：用歌谣的形式复习，加深印象，达到复习和巩固的目的。） II. Presentation 1.Ask and answer ( Look at the screen) T: Does the rain come from the sky? S1: Yes , it does. S1:Where does rain come from? S2: It comes from the clouds. Where does the cloud come from? S3: It comes from the vapour. Where does the vapour. come from? S4：It comes from the water. How can the water become vapour? S5: The sunshine and the water becomes vapour. T: When the water is cold ,it becomes ice, but when it’s hot, it becomes vapour. (设计意图：复习巩固旧知，为下面的短文阅读打下基础。) 2.Say: Today the water drop has an interesting trip，do you want to know? (1). Listen and translate the new words (2).Listen and answer my questions.（who helps the water drop become the rain ? Does the water drop have a lot of fun?） (设计意图：让学生带着问题去听读文章，并且让学生质疑和与老师进行探讨，这都能很好地诱发学生自主尝试的动机，培养其自主学习的能力。) (3).Get the Ss to read and discuss the details in their group and fill in the blanks.
