In the reading process, a student will realize the meaning construction by inquiring the questions I the text, and at the same time he or she will obtain the new knowledge and get delighted after reading the text and talking with teachers and classmates. Inquiring reading teaching method, which is a process to edify human nature and promote life growing, pays more attention to the construction of humane connotation and spirit than to improving reading ability. Inquiring reading teaching method challenges the traditional receiving learning. It helps to train a student’s question realization and active learning attitude, and at the same time it can improve his or her innovating ability and practicing ability. Inquiring reading teaching method also leads a student to master how to learn and cooperate with others, which will profits the formation of “the Large Language” and bring about the reading teaching revolution. The thesis first discusses the connotation and character of inquiring reading teaching. The writer, who is on the basis of the theory of constructing learning, the theory of discovering learning and the theory of accepting esthetics, study inquiring reading teaching strategy in order to put up effective suggestions on inquiring reading teaching.
