第二讲 冠词考点及复习要点 冠词是高考考的热点。冠词是虚词，本身不能单独使用，它用在名词的前面，帮助指明名词的含义。英语中的冠词有三种，一种是定冠词（the Definite Article），另一种是不定冠词（the Indefinite Article），零冠词（Zero Article）。冠词的考查以固定结构和习惯用语为主，结合考查一些基本规则。所以复习中要注重教材中的语言点的整理，冠词不定冠词a (an)“一”。a用于辅音音素前，而an则用于元音音素前。 A Mr. Ling is waiting for you./A knife is a tool for cutting with./Mr. Smith is an engineer.不定冠词也用于一些固定词组或成语a little / a few / a lot / a type of / a pile / a great many / many a / as a rule / in a hurry / in a minute / in a word / in a short while / after a while / have a cold / have a try / keep an eye on / all of a sudden/with a smile/once in a while/in a low voice等。 2.定冠词the人或东西。　　ake the medicine three times a day.　The rich shouldn’t look down upon the poor. The whale belongs to the blue whale. Where do you live?　I live on the second floor.　 That‘s the very thing I’ve been looking for.　  　Catch/seize sb. by the arm; in the hope of; play the piano; by the pound; in the day; in the morning；the day after tomorrow；the day before yesterday；the next morning；in the sky (water，field，country)；in the dark；in the rain；in the distance；　in the middle (of)；　in the end； on the whole；by the way；　go to the theatre用前　 the People‘s Republic of Chinathe United States， the World Food Organization2. 用在姓氏的复数名词之前，表示一家人：　 the Greens　 格林一家人 (或格林夫妇) His record sold very well. It was a great success. / I had a delicious breakfast this morning. 以下情况不用冠词： 1) 国名，人名前通常不用定冠词： 2) 表示季节、月份、节日、 假日、日期、星期等的名词之前，不加冠词；3) 在称呼或表示官衔，职位的名词前不加冠词；He was made head of the team./He is head of the state. 习惯用法：have breakfast；play chess； by train； go to school; go to college; be in prison; in hospital; first of all; out of work; on time; in case of.　 在复习过程中注意不带冠词的短语和习惯用语。 特别注意加冠词和不加冠词的意义区别。如： go to hospital --- go to the hospital in charge of --- in the charge of out of question --- out of the question at table --- at the table 冠词用法口诀： 泛指表“一”不定冠，辅音用a原音an; 特指“人、事”都用the, 泛指复数不用管（冠）； 固定搭配要记牢，因为他们不受限。 【高考链接】 1.
