Use the same way to spell brother/sister. 二. Presentation Practice 1. T: Hello, I’m Amy. Come and meet my family. This is my father/mother/ Grandfather/grandmother/sister/ baby brother. This is my aunt/uncle. T shows the flashcards and introduces, then sticks them on the board. Teach the new words: family, parents, uncle, aunt, baby brother. Read after T, Ss read together, ask Ss to read it. 2. Let’s read. Ss open books, T use CAI to play. Ss read after it twice. 3. Game: Who is he/she? T: Let’s play a game, ok? E.g. mother’s father Ss: grandfather. Mother’s sister Ss aunt mother’s mother grandmother Mother’s brother: uncle father’s sister: aunt Father’s brother: uncle, father’s mother: grandmother Father’s father: grandfather 4. Introduce family members T: Now can you draw your family and introduce them like this: Hello, boys and girls. Come and meet my family. This is my father. He is tall and strong. He likes sports. This is my mother. She is thin and short. She likes music. This is my baby brother. He likes painting. This is my uncle. He is tall. He likes music, too. This is my aunt. She has long hair. She likes books. T set an example. Then ask Ss to draw his/ her family. Think about How to introduce and then introduce it to partner. Ask 2 Ss to show the introduction. 三.
