It would dwell on recent advanced research and application issues on the topics mentioned below. On completion of this course, a prospective student should have an acceptable understanding of the important scientific and/or engineering concepts that relate to the surface mount assembly of printed circuit boards. The course will provide a prospective student with a background in engineering with the basis for continual learning with respect to the surface mount printed circuit board assembly domain.
