M ethods T he quest ionna irew as comp leted after literature review, and 9 expertsw ere inv ited to revise the qu estionnaire. Th irty-fou r phy sicians filled the questionn aire for pre- test and d id it again for re-test 4 w eeks later. K appa value of each qu estion of the questionn aire w as calcu lated. R esults Content valid ity and face valid ity w ere assu red by exp erts. K appa valuesw ere over 0. 61 in all item s, w h ich ach ieved substan tial level. Conclus ion Th e qu estionnaire des ign ed has fa irly good reliab ility and valid ity, and can be used in invest igat ion of irritab le bow el synd rom e for phy sicians.
