设计题目 8A Unit 4 Task 教学内容 The unit talks about Do It Yourself. This lesson lets students think about how to write a diary of DIY. 教学对象 The students of Grade Eight seldom contact with the writing using the notices to collect the information and give the guidance of a student in the writing ability. So at the beginning, I ask students to go through the information about the plan for a trip and try to describe the details in their own words. When reading the model passage, focus on finding out what each part is about and seize the key words in the sentence and the topic sentence in paragraphs. 教学目标 Ask students to read Suzy’s diary, and take notice of the information you need.
Teach them to have a clear structure of writing and organize ideas
Learn how to write a diary including how to divide the paragraphs and combine the sentences. 教学策略 1. To learn to write a diary.
2. Lead in the lesson by revising the reading.
3. To take Suzy’s diary as an example. Let students know how to write a diary of DIY. 课前准备

Ask students some questions of Reading text, then lead in the topic of the lesson.
Ask students:what present will you send to your mother?
1. Play the recording about Suzy’s diary.
Present some questions and then ask students to answer these questions.
Check the answers.
2. Play again and let students repeat after the recording sentence by sentence.
3. Ask students to read again and try to know what each paragraph is about after reading. If any questions, have a discussion in groups.
4. Present the main idea of each paragraph.
