Analysis on the Application of Personnel Assessment in Human Resources Management
Abstract. Personnel assessment is not only the foundation for the full development and utilization of human resources, but also an important technology in the human resources management of the modern times. Personnel assessment can help the assessed objects to know well their own advantages and disadvantages, and also can provide a scientific referential base for the daily management projects of enterprise human resources departments. In this paper, the intension, methods and functions of personnel assessment are introduced, and also the application of personnel assessment in enterprise recruitment and selection, planning and training of employee career, and motivating employees are discussed. Introduction With the effective use of personnel assessment, the potentials of internal personnel of enterprises can be exerted very well. Human resource is a type of important resource with subjective initiative. First of all, the potentials of an employee can be played to the maximum only if personnel are properly arranged according to the needs of posts. Second, in the modern human resources management, high importance is attached to use the advantages of personnel and the reasonable collocation of personnel. The functions of human resource management can be better used only if personnel are better understood. Third, in human resource management, company benefit is the factor that all employees care about. For this reason, it is also the issue that the human resource management of enterprise pays the most attention to. At present, there is a contradiction (i.e. brain shortage and brain waste) in the domestic enterprises. 2.
