Abstract Brick engraving art features in architecture of Hui-style Brick engraving art features in architecture of Hui-style Abstract Huizhou brick engraving is a typical art form of our graving arts in China. Its originat ed in the ancient area of Huizhou, where amongst present Mount Huang City,Jixi, Wuyuan County of Anhui province. Traditional residences, ancestral halls, temples and memorial ar chways, brick engraving is often seen. On present days, Hui-style of architecture are here a nd there in towns and villages. This article showing the art symbols of brick engraving, from the aspects of aesthetics , psychology, sociology, archaeology and other related researches, systemically analyzes th e historical value and what now it goes. Hui-style (and inspired styles) of architect from ti me to time tells the start of brick engraving, the art styles, also the theme, symbol and artifi cial evolution. The research on Huizhou brick engraving prove evidences on economic, political and humanities. It helps to understand the art form on modern time.
