It is the first tmi e to integrate the community developm ent into the forestm anagement in M IMM. The objective ofM IMM is to ach ieve the sustainablemanagement of natural forest asw ell as the sustainable development of the local community. TheM IMM w ith the core part of land use strategy plann ing is developed based on the social information , natural resources data and the ecosystem assessment resu lts. The participatory approach is introduced into theM IMM to ensure that all stakeholders are involved in themanagement of natural forest.
