Unit 1 A land of diversity Period 5 Reading and Writing 整体设计 教学内容分析 The teaching materials of this period contain two parts.The first part is a reading passage,the text on Page 8 with the title of Georges Diary 12th-14th June,which describes the first three days of Georges visit to San Francisco.The language is informal;the writer uses contractions and often leaves out some words so that it reads somewhat like notes.
