Can earn back this 1% through high performance in FY 12 (beginning October of 2011!) on the CMS Core Measures (70% of the 1%) and HCAHPS Patient Satisfaction scores (30% of the 1%). This carve out will increase to 2% by 2017 and additional measures such as mortality, readmissions and preventable harm will be added to the measurement.
