M ethods The ori in, trend, branch in , confi uration, and d istribution of the colic vessels, the intensity of the colic arterial mi pulse, the inte rity of the m ar inal artery at the sp lenic flexure and hepatic flexure of colon w ere observed durin the operation of ERC amon 582 patien ts under oin ERC, 402 m ales m ad 180 fem ales, a ed 2~ 74, from 22 provinces, municipality, and autonom ous re ions. R esults The left colic artery ( LCA ) stemm ed from the inferior m esenteric artery ( IMA) in 97. 3% of the patients, w ith an absence rate of 0. 7% .
