Since 2012, based on the concept of advanced nursing practice, our hospital has actively explored ostomy wound professional work mode and operated in the following ways, including authorization of ostomy wound group, establishment of the specialist outpatient clinics, specialist nurses participate in nursing quality control, education training, and intractable cases discussion, as well as to select specialist nurses strictly and cultivate them with a stage way and so on, which allowed the multiple roles of wound-ostomy nurses function has been given full play, the practice level of hospital advanced nursing practice and the comprehensive ability of specialist nurses have been improved, at the same time to meet the value demand of specialist nurses.
