教学前思:
本单元教学重点主要在于让学生掌握基本问候语, 能在不同的场合正确运用合适的问候语,如: Good morning! Good afternoon! How are you? 同时能在问候过程中采用多种答句,避免单一性,如: I’m fine. I’m very well. Just so so. 在教授学生基本问候语的同时,通过简单的图示法帮助学生分清时间,如中午12点至晚上6点之间的时间称之为afternoon,晚上9点以后称为night,同时 中午12点之前的时间用 a.m. 表示,之后的时间用p.m.表示。为了让学生能后灵活运用所学内容,在课堂上设计安排多种情景,让学生实战演练,学以致用。

Activity 1
Greet the students and introduce yourself. Then have the students greet each other.
Activity 2
Use the puppets to elicit the key words boy and girl. Then invite some students to make a similar short dialogue in pairs.
While-task procedures
Activity 1
Have the students practice the key words with you. When you touch a girl’s shoulder, the students say “Girl!” together. When you touch a boy’s shoulder, they say ‘ Boy!’
Activity 2
Introduce the puppet to the students. Then use the puppets to make a dialogue introducing themselves.
Activity 3
Have the students listen to the recording for ‘ Look and say’ on Student’s page 6. Then ask them to make a short dialogue in groups of three or four as follows.
Activity 4
Make copies of the survey table in ‘Do a survey’ on page 8. Divide the class into group of six. Give each group a copy of the survey table and complete the survey as follows.
