Everyone has his/her own style. The effectiveness of notes is judged by how easily you interpret the notes and encode your message, rather than by their appearance. Some notes relating to a particular topic are created right before you go on an interpreting job, but others point to frequently used expressions in most speeches and should be easily retrieved from your memory anywhere and anytime. Whichever type the notes are, they should be used consistently throughout the same interpreting task.
