While he or she is seemingly successful, then there will always be some cruel facts that can spoil his or her reputation. And Queen Elizabeth Ⅰ couldnt be an exception. The age during Elizabeths reign is called Elizabethan Age, or the Golden Age. People entitled the last half of the 16th century this name due to Elizabeths personal character and influence in all aspects of peoples lives at that time. Sure, she had contributed a lot. She never married during her lifetime. She knew a husband may control England, her country, by controlling her, so she would never marry for the sake of her country and her subjects. A large number of great playwrights such as William Shakespeare appeared, and drama as a new form of literature reached its highest peak of achievement for all time. Theatre appeared, people enjoyed the cultural pageantry. These all came from Elizabeths inspiration. But actually, she had faults also.
