Studieson theChemicalConstituentsfromtheFruitsof Forsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.ABSTRACTObjective:Forsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.hasbeenprescribedinthetraditionalChinesemedicinesforalongtime.Itismainlyusedforthetreatmentofvirusflu andcommoncold.Themain chemicalconstituentsofthemwerecomplicated,includingphenylethanoidglucosides,lignansandlignanglucosides,C6-C2naturalalcohols,flavonoids,terpenoids,volatile oilandothercompounds.ThispaperdescribestheisolationandstructuralelucidationoftheconstituentsfromForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.Methods:Air-dried fruitsofForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.5kgwereextractedwith95%EtOH(10times,1h,×3).Afterevaporationunderreducedpressureadark95%EtOHextractwasobtained.TheextractwasmixedwithwaterthenextractedbyEthylacetate,n-BuOHrespectively.Afterevaporationunderpressuretwofractionswere obtained.Thentheeachfractionwassubjectedtocolumnchromatographyovernormalandreversed-phasesilicagel, SephadexLH-20and recrstallizationrepeatedly, toaffordmonomercompounds.Byanalyzingthespectroscopicdataandliteratures,thestructuresofthemonomercompoundswereelucidated.Results:11compoundswereisolatedfromtheAir-driedfruits ofForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahland9ofthemwereelucidatedas:Phillyrin (FGQ-1),Phillygenin(FGQ-2),(+)-Pinoresinol(FGQ-3),Forsythoside A (FGQ-4), Quercetin (FGQ-5), Rutin (FGQ-6), Rengyol(FGQ-7),β-Sitosterol(FGQ-8),β-Daucosterol(FGQ-9),respectively.Conclusion:BysystemisolatingfromtheAir-driedfruitsofForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahlandreferringtotheliteratures,wefoundthatthemassiveconstituentswerephillyrin,rutinandforsythosideAwithintheplant,thisconclusioncanprovidereasonableindicatorsofqualityofevaluationforthenextstepstudyofqualitystandardsaboutmedicinalmaterialsandpiecesofForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl,simultaneously,theexperimentmayalsoprovidedsometheoreticalevidenceforthefindingofthematerialbasisforefficacyoftheForsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.KeyWords:Forsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vahl.;Chemicalconstituents;Structuralelucidation引言连翘(Forsythiasuspensa(Thunb.)Vah
