The study of filling slurry separation is mostly limited to qualitative description, and there isn’t quantitative evaluation method for that it can not accurately determine the cement content in tailings filling body. In this paper, the effects of filling body age and filling slurry concentration on EDTA titration were analyzed by conducting experimental studies. The effectiveness of EDTA titration method for determine the cement content in cemented tailings backfill is demonstrated, which provides an effective technique for studying the segregation of filling slurry and the uniformity of filling body, and also provides an effective evaluation index for mine enterprises measuring the construction quality of construction units.
