2014 China International Industry Fair Shanghai New International Expo Center · China Preamble 2014 China Innovation Expo of Industrial Design (CIEID) will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center on 4-8 November. Furthermore,“Several Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the Integrated Development of Cultural and Creative Industries, Design Services and the Related Industries pointed out to enhance the deep integration between design services and the real economy. Consequently, jointly co-organized by China Industry Design Institute (CIDI) and Shanghai Promotion Center for City of Design, the 1st ever CIEID makes its debut by connecting CIIF. The global famous enterprises and institutions will intensively display the full picture from the concept, method, process to result of industrial design. Since CIIF’s founding in 1999, CIIF has become one of the most influential brand exhibitions of international industry in China through over 15 years, which is an important window and platform open to the world for international trade, communication and cooperation on industrial field. CIIF 2014 occupies over 160,000 sq. meters as its display area and attracts more than 2,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions and over 120,000 professional visitors.
