With the development of the globalization, it will become more and more important, and the translation of trademark also will become more and more important. Trademark is a kind of special artistic language, it’s a kind of symbol, and it’s a kind of cultural concentration. As a carrier of culture, the cultural content of trademark is very rich. It often contains the human geography feature, the national culture feature, the enterprise culture feature and the aesthetic feature. To convey the trademark’s cultural information and the product’s characteristic to the consumer, arising the consumer’s imagination to achieve the effect of publicity, a good trademark translation is needed. So we should follow some principles when translate the trademark, especially Nida’s Functional Equivalence principle, and we also should follow some principles in the practical application, such as the principle of specificity, concise and bright, meeting consumer’s psychology, using commendatory terms and the principle of indigenization.
