Do not cross! * protect the crime scene * check the scene for objects or clues * check the scene /objects for fingerprints * look for witnesses and ask them for information * decide who the suspects are and talk to them * find the murderer Let’s see if you can be a good detective. *One of my friends was arrested yesterday. *He was under arrest yesterday. the diamond necklace My friend was charged with robbery. *Because the necklace was robbed from a jewellery shop. *Tom was shocked. Things go like this! Millie has also written an article about it. But she missed a few words. Help her complete the sentences. Do Part A2 on page 113. Work in groups of four and find a way to help Tom. Each group writes an ending to the story. Share your stories with your classmates. Here is another detective story. Take a look at these pictures and match the sentences with them. (Part B1 on page 114) How can we develop the story? It is a good way to ask yourselves more questions! Here are some questions I would like to ask. Listen carefully and try to answer them by yourselves. Just try to get more ideas! Look at the first picture. How manyquestions can you think of? Check the scene for clues. *Check the scene carefully and take some notes. *What, do you think, he can find there?
