Warm up Sing together. They sing the song of the Let’s chant on page26. 2. Guess the riddle It’s yummy to eat. It’s made of bread and ham. Its name begins with the letter as “ha”. What is it? When students say the hamburger, yes , hamburgers are salty. And hot dogs are salty, sandwiches are salty, too. Have them know the meaning of salty. They are a kind of fruit. They are round and small. Some of them are purple. Some of them are green. What are they? When they say the grapes , yes, they are grapes .Some grapes are sweet, but some are sour. Peaches, watermelons, apples are sweet, too. Lemons are sour, they are not sweet. Have them understand the meanings of sweet and sour. 3.Presentation Let’s learn a. I take a bag of sugar, say here’s some sugar, then I have a taste. Tell them it’s sweet in a proper tone. Ask them to read it as they taste the sugar.
