Humanized design of Public transport shows the care of human nature and the harmonious relationship between design and city circumstance. This thesis analyzes the theoretic related to humanized design and describes a comprehensive dissertation of humanized design. Also, the characteristics of design, elements and methods are considered into application research in the thesis. The thesis bases on in-depth understanding of urban railway Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment and characteristics of the products, combining with the conditions of domestic Automatic Fare Collection equipment production and technical characteristics of MHTIS Company. The thesis proposes a more comprehensive analysis and systematic research on urban railway AFC equipment. It puts forward some constructive suggestions, and the humanized design method s for the AFC equipment and evaluation of humanized designs are sort out. The factors of AFC humanized design have been researched and developed through AFC user research, needs finding and cases study. Finally, it is applied to manufacture. The research provides a viable theoretical basis and practical reference to other AFC equipment designs in Modern High-Tech intelligent system Company（MHTIS Company）. The humanized application research helps designers to shorten AFC design cycle, minimize development costs and improve design efficiency.
