Abstract : In this article, we attempt to show the themes of Pride and Prejudice. Firstly I will show something about the author Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice. Then the main themes of Pride and Prejudice: by describing four different marriages in Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen expressed her viewpoint that one’s character often reflects his or her attitudes towards marriages and love. The last part of the paper shows that this great novel not only attracted thousands of readers in Austen’s time, but also gave a special feeling to today’s people.

摘要：本文试着从《傲慢与偏见》的主旨介入。首先，笔者将对作者 简·奥斯汀 和其作品《傲慢与偏见》加以简单介绍；其次，在《傲慢与偏见》中，作者通过对四种不同婚姻结局的描述，表达了她的“一个人的性格往往决定其婚姻和爱情观”的观点：最后，这部巨著不仅在简·奥斯汀时代吸引了成千上万的读者，还给当今时代文坛带来了巨大的震撼。
