Let students repeat this word. 2 Learn the other words: dress, shirt by repeating the step above . 3 Hold up the pictures and give the example: They are pants. Read after me. 4 Let students read the other sentences: They are sokes./ They are shoes. 5 Review the new words. New language Ask students to look at pictures: 1 Now point to the dress that Ann is wearing and ask: What is it? Elicit: Dress. Present the structure: Its a dress. 2 Repeat the step above for shirt and sweater and present the structure : Its a shirt, It’s a sweater. 3 Present the structure: They’re shoes. Read after me. 4 Repeat the step above for socks and pants. They are socks, They are pants. 5 Open their books Why Ken and Ann are smiling at Mocky and so on. Touch and say 1 Play the tape and ask students to point to each picture as they hear the matching word. 2 Read the words together. 3 Practice in pairs. 4 Ask: Who’s this? Answer: Uncle Booky.
