Firstly, in the text it is very clear that there are two sides of people who are for or against animal experiments for various reasons. Then writing steps and advices are given to write an argumentative essay. After thinking and discussion, writing skills and steps of argumentative essay will be provided to students. Part Two: The teaching aims: I. The knowledge objectives: a) Students have to master the new words and phrases in this lesson. b) Students should understand the meaning of the reading material. c) Students learn about the argumentative essay and its writing skills. 2.2 The ability aims: a) Students learn how to analyze one thing from two opposite aspects. b) Students can write argumentative essays with words and phrases learned today. Next, I will introduce the important and difficult points of this unit. Part 3: The important points and the difficult points: In this lesson, the important points are the following: Students learn and use properly all the words and phrases in writing an argumentative essay.
