It has become a critical task for the industry to improve the quality of project management. With the development and widely use of information technology, it has become an absolutely necessary tool in company management. With informative management of project construction, the company can get better control of the construction progress, realize efficient management of every step of the projects, enhance effectiveness of the management and improve overall quality and efficiency of the project construction. Therefore, by using computer software to analyze the process of building the project management information system and with the UML modeling technology, we have successfully built a model which is suitable for analyzing and designing project management information system This paper mainly includes the following: This article focuses on the study of object-oriented modeling technology with UML and methods with RUP, based on summarizing the principles, methods and tools of Software Engineering.
