首先看下面两个句子: 1. Seeing is believing. 2. Reading English aloud is a good habit. 上述两句中的划线部分我们称为动名词,他们既 有动词又有名词的性质,因此叫动名词。 动名词由动词原形v+ing构成。例如: My job is?teaching English. 2) I finished the work in a week?by working hard. 动名词有时态和语态的变化 动名词的主动形式:doing (否定形式为 not doing) 2. 动名词的被动形式:being done 3. 动名词的复合结构:形容词性物主代词/名词所有格/名词/人称代词的宾格+动名词。 1. 动名词作主语 1) Retelling stories is very useful. 2) Swimming is a good sport in summer. 在一些句子中,常用 it 作形式主语,将动名词放在句子后面。例如: 1) It is great fun traveling. 2) It is a waste of time playing computer games. 2. 动名词作表语 1) Seeing is believing. 2) My idea is making a plan first. 3. 动名词作宾语 动名词既可作动词宾语也可作介词宾语,例如: 1) I havent finished reading todays newspaper. (动名词reading作动词finish的宾语) 2) Im afraid of going to the dentist. (动名词going作介词of的宾语) 4. 动名词作定语 I would like to choose a house with a swimming pool. 1. finish doing 做完…… 2. enjoy doing 喜欢做…… 3. mind doing 介意做…… 4. suggest doing 建议做…… 5. avoid doing 避免做…… 6. practice doing 练习做…… 7. be busy doing 忙于做…… 8. give up doing 放弃做…… 9. feel like doing 想要做…… 10. can’t help doing 忍不住做…… 注意: to 有时作介词用,此时后面只能跟doing。 下面是一些常用的词组: look forward to doing 期待,期盼做…… get/be used to doing 习惯于做…… prefer doing … to doing … 和……相比,更喜欢 pay attention to doing 留意做…… 下列词组意思的差异 ①stop doing sth. 停止正在做的事, stop to do sth. 停下来 去做另一件事 ②forget/remember doing sth. 忘记/记得做过某事, forget/remember to do sth. 忘记/记得去做某事 例如: ① The baby stopped crying when he saw his mother. (表示停止正在做的事) They stopped to have a rest after hard work. ( 表示停下来做另外一件事) ② He forgot turning the light off. (已做过关灯的动作) Don’t forget to turn the light when you leave the room.
