How to turn off auto-focus while recording video. you can turn off the autofocus by using TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe , [url=/filee74b632c/_2__TkFileExplorer_22.html]download here[/url] it just creat a temporary blank option after the face detection and auto focus. but it would disapper if you change the focus setting. so do not change the focus option while you using it. and your Samsung_PC_Studio on your pc must working perfectly fine, otherwise you should install the usb drive (ATTACHED behind). ok, go 1. attach your phone to pc in PC STUDIO mode. 2. run TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe, go to Setting - Com ,input Port : COM1, then go to File - Connect, if pop out a mseeage says :Unable to open.... , that means you should try other Port like COM2 or COM3 .....(mine is COM13, Orz ) 3. When you find out the right COM, you will see a Folder Tree below, click the Registry folder, there is a CamSetting.ini in there. right click it and upload to your desktop. 4. Open CamSetting.ini with wordpad or notepad, and find the RecordFocusMode=1 and change it into RecordFocusMode=0 (also you can shut down the camera shutter sound by change the ShutterSound=1 into ShutterSound=3 . some m8910 versions forbid users turn off the camera sound, concern to the private matter) just change RecordFocusMode=1 into RecordFocusMode=0 close the file CamSetting.ini and save it. 5. back to TkFileExplorer, download the new CamSetting.ini back to the phone, it will replace the old one in Registry folder without warning. close TkFileExplorer, disconnect USB cable, reboot your phone. 6. done. the m8910 wont turn on the auto focus while you recording video anymore. also you can not record the very close thing anymore, like your hands and newspaper ..., they go blurred. but it works much more better in any other way, faster and clearer. ------------------- M8910 USB drive, there are 2 of them, go test yourself.( me
