The composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile is a new technology for dealing with the weak foundation soil witch mainly consists of silt and silty clay soil. Because of less investment and rapid construction speed, it has been widely used in North China area.With the increasing of the practical engineering applications for the technology of the composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile, a lot of technical problems and defects have been exposed, so it requires more research for the technology of the composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile. to adapt to the actual development and to serve for engineering applications better.The computer technology increasing rapidly in recent years, many scholars begin using the finite element software for model analysis of the composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile. But when I have read a lot of literatures, I find that many models are based on plane strain theory, there are many problems in the model assumptions and buildings, and less for researching the group piles. So i think it is necessary to research more for the composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile.This thesis made a presentation on the concept of the composite foundation of compacted cement-soil pile and summed up the mechanism of action and method of calculation witch researched by domestic and foreign scholars.
