And this lesson is the first section of this unit. In the first part, it requires students to master the words: aunt, brother, father, grandfather, grandmother, grandparents, mother, parents, sister, uncle. And the pattern “How many people are there in your family?” “There are…” “Have you got any…” “Yes, I have. No, I haven’t.” Since the students have learned something about family members, and they are very familiar with this topic, it will be easier for them to learn the new lesson. Teaching important points and difficult points (1) Students are able to use the skills of listening, such as prediction and take notes. This is not only an important point but also a difficult point. (2) Students have to master the new words and expressions and then use in their listening and speaking. It may be hard for students to realize the mistake they have made, so I will find their mistakes and correct them in time.
