First： Hello everybody, this morning it’s my turn to show the oral English speech. I both major in Computer Science and Technology. My name is Ou YangRui. Today my theme is “Chocolate love”. Second： The reason why I choose it is that chocolate is not only snack but it also represents a kind of cooking culture. Now let us begin the road ahead to the” Chocolate Love”. In Europe in the 16th century, This is usually believed the initial that chocolate became a representative(典型的) of love. So in the next chapter I will tell you a chocolate story about love. Third： Spring of 1919, as a member of royal( [r?i?l]皇家的) kitchen, Leon was busy preparing for the daily works. In a afternoon he met a beautiful girl, later he knew that the girl was a princess [prinses] named Bazaar [b?zɑ:]. Then they often met at the kitchen, the girl taught[t?:t] the boy English and the boy made ice cream for the girl, day by day, they fell in love with each other, but no one talked to the other because they had different status. What they could do was to hide the love in their heart. Early 20th century, in order to make stronger position throughout Europe, two countries reached a covenant [k?v?n?nt]. Unfortunately, Princess Bazaar was chosen to marry another Prince, so Leon did not see the Princess any more. Finally, after a month, Bazaar appeared in the table, but she had lost a great weight. When Leon prepared for the desserts, he used hot chocolate to write a few letters DOVE, which meant DO YOU LOVE ME, in Bazaar’s ice cream. But Bazaar didn’t eat it until the chocolate melted [meltid]. A few days later, Bazaar married. A year later, Leon could not bear the loss of Bazaar, then he left the royal kitchen and moved to the United States and there he found a job in a big restaurant. Time went by, after years of a careful research, a new kind of ice cream chocolate came out, and the four letters DOVE were written on it surface. Someone asked him what the meaning of the four letters is;
