PAGE PAGE IV PAGE PAGE III Abstract Leisure agriculture is a new tourism industry combining agriculture and tourism ,which integrates agricultural activities ， natural landscape ， technology demonstration，entertainment，and environmental protection． With a triple property of production，tourism and entertainment, it cultivates the path of the eco-tourism agriculture， breaks through the predatory mode of production in traditional agriculture ，and achieves complementary advantages of the primary industry and tertiary industry by enhancing the level and benefit of the primary industry ， and enriching the connotation of the tertiary industry. And in consequence the ecological benefits，economic benefits，social benefits will be well integrated. As a new pattern to develop agriculture and tourism, Leisure agriculture is regarded as a sunrise industry in the modern agriculture with a very broad prospects by expending the function of agriculture and tourism. With the development of leisure agriculture, several positive influences on agriculture industry have been revealed , such as transferring the surplus labor from countryside to the non-agricultural industry, increasing the profit of agriculture and farmers, improving the environment of village and enhancing the quality of the resident, consequently the development of leisure agriculture is of great significance in the construction of beautiful countryside of AnHui Province. The purpose of this paper is how to build a strategic plan for the building of a better countryside. Firstly, the paper analyzes the background of building beautiful country building and developing leisure agriculture and clarifies the purpose and significance of this study. Secondly, the paper describes the current situation and progress of building beautiful countryside and leisure agriculture research.
