Click for example answers 1) My grandparents say there was a time when they suffered because they had very little money. Yes, obviously you need a basic minimum income. Example answers 2) Well, some who dont have much money seem happy but others think that not having money makes them unhappy. I think its a question of what they believe rather than just how much money they actually have. You know, with some people the more money they have, the more they think they need. 3) I think most people would choose the happy marriage, but in fact if they like someone who has a lot of money I think they will choose that person and not a poor person to marry. 4) They can buy plenty of things that they want and they dont have to worry about basic things like a home, food, heating and lighting and so on. However, I doubt if they can buy friends and a good family. Still, they can make their life easier so perhaps they are more likely to feel happy. ? You need a basic minimum income to pay for necessities like accommodation, food, heating, lighting, clothes etc, otherwise all your effort goes to getting those things and you are unlikely to be happy.
