The Expression of IL-17 and TNF-αin Lumbar Intervertebral Discand its corelation research with the Degenearted Lumbar Intervertebral DiscAbstract[Objective]To investigate the expression and the effect of IL-17 and TNF-α in lumbar intervertebral disc，to study the association betweent the effect of IL-17 and TNF-αin the degenearted lunber intervertebral disc；To supply the theoretical support for treating the degenerative disc disease and studying the cause of it．[Methods]The experiment group consisted of 40 cases of the fresh pulpy nucleus tissue which were obtained from patients with lumbar disc herniation by surgical intervention(18 external anulus rupture，22 external anulus intact)，while 10 cases of the flesh pulpy nucleus tissue were harvested By operation for fracture of lumbar vertebrae acted as control group．The mRNA and protein expression of IL-17 and TNF-α in 50 specimens were detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and immunohistochemical staining.Then,the results were analysed statistically.[Results]The mean IL-17 and TNF-α protein and mRNA levels in the anulus fibrosus disrupted group and anulus fibrosus undismpted group are both higher than the control group．Between the lumbar intervertebral disc of experiment group,the expression of the IL- 17 and TNF-α in the anulus fibrosus disrupted group is higher than that in anulus fibrosus undisrupted group(P0 ． 05) ． There was certain positive correlation4between the mRNA and protein expression of IL-17 and TNF- αinexperimental group（r=0.957，P0．05） [Conclusions]IL-17 and TNF-α in the cells of human lumbar intervertebral disc may be involved in the progress of human lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration.There was certain positive correlation be tween the expression of IL-17 and TNF-α.[Key words]IL-17 ; TNF-α;intervertebral disc;Intervertebral disc degeneration5英文缩略词表英文缩写cDNA英文全称complementary DNA中文名称互补脱氧核糖核酸DABDEPCDNasediaminobenzidine diethylpyrocarbonatedeoxyribonuclease二氨基联苯焦碳酸二乙酯脱氧核糖核酸酶Fsufunctional spinal uni
