Textbook: PEP Book 4B Unit 2
Period: The Second Period of Unit 2
Aims and Requirements:
教学重点:(1) 能够听懂会说 ”What time is it ?” “It’s time for ….” 和 “Let’s ….” 并在情景中运用。
(2)锻炼学生并让学生掌握听说的能力。(第二课时应该是听说能力,最好还要写明哪方面的听力技巧或说的技巧)
教学难点:能够理解并运用 “School is over.” 和 “Just a minute.”
Visual Aids:some pictures 、media and a clock
Step 1 Greeting and Revision
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
S: Good morning, Miss …!
T: How are you today? (看学生的反应)
S: I’m fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too .Do you remember your homework? I ask you to write your timetable on your weekends. (老师在黑板上画出一个timetable的表格)

T: Now, I want to ask one student to write down your timetable on the blackboard. Any volunteer? (学生举手)
T:You , please .(给2-3分钟时间学生填写)
T:Ok , thank you ,go back to your seat .
T: Now, look at the blackboard, I point to the time, the whole students answer.
T: What time is it? (老师指着第二栏)
S: It is ____o’clock. It’s time for ____.
(其他皆用同样的方法教)
T: Now, you can make a dialogue with your partner, one asks “What time is it?” the other answers “It’s …o’clock. It’s time for…” Understand? (给2-3分钟学生交流)
Step 2 Lead in
老师拿出时钟调到5:00
T: Look at the clock, what time is it? (老师指着时钟问学生)
( 看学生的反应,若没有多少同学回答就叫一位成绩较好的学生回答)
S: It’s 5:00 o’ clock.
T: Yes, It’s 5:00 o’clock in the evening.
T : Look at the picture, school is over(老师讲school is over的同时展示图片)
(如果学生不理解可以联系class is over来帮助理解)
T: What do you do after school?
S: ….. (学生讨论,可以用中文,时间控制在两到三分钟之内)
T: If you want to do these things with your classmate .How do you say?
S: …..
T: Very good. You can say: Let’s play football /let’s do homework. …….
T:Now I show you some pictures and you can use “Let’s …” to make a sentence, understand?
S: Yes!
T: Look at the first picture, who wants to try? You please. (老师拿出游泳的图片)
S: Let’s go swimming.
T: Very good .Sit down please.
(展示其他两张图片,用同样的方法让学生来回答)
