TheeffectsofJuanBICapsulesonMMP-2、MMP-9inSerumofKOArabbitsafterpreventlyadministrationAbstractObjective:ThisstudyobservedserumMMP-2,MMP-9contentchangeofrabbitkneeosteoarthritismodelwithreinforcingqiandenrichingkidneymethodbyusingJuanbicapsuleasinterveningfactors,soastoprovidereliabletheoreticalbasisforearlyTCMinterveningkneeosteoarthritis.Methods:4monthsoldhealthyJapaneseLong-earedrabbits,72,male,bodyweight(1.8-3.5)kg,wererandomlydividedintosixgroups。TCMhighdosegroup(experimentalgroupⅠ),TCMmiddledosegroup(groupⅡ),TCMlowdosegroup(experimentalgroupⅢ),glucosaminehydrochloridecapsulegroup(controlgroup),modelgroup,blankgroup,12ineachgroup.Inadditiontotheblankgroup,theexperimentalgroupⅠ,groupⅡ,Ⅲandcontrolgroup,modelgroupwerefixedwithplastertubefor6weeksforkneeosteoarthritismodeling.whilemodelingtheexperimentalgroupⅠ,Ⅱ,ⅢandcontrolgroupweregivendifferentdosesofJuanbicapsuleandglucosaminehydrochloridecapsulesorallyfor4weeksinordertotreatprevently.6weeksaftermodeling,bloodofearcentralarteryweretaken,andtheupperlayerserumwerekeptaftercentrifugation.SerumMMP-2andMMP-9levelswereassayed.results：1.Thedegreeofarticularcartilagedegenerationinmodelgroupwasmoreseriouswithnakedeye.theexperimentalgroupⅠ,groupⅡ,Ⅲandcontrolgrouphaddifferentdegreeofdegeneration；Exceptfortheblankgroup,varyingdegreesofcartilagedegenerationandhistologicalchangesinothergroupcanbeseenwithlightmicroscope.2.Comparedwithmodelgroup,serumMMP-2levelintheexperimentalgroupⅠ,groupⅡ,Ⅲ，controlgroupweresignificantlydifferent(P0.05)；Comparedwithcontrolgroup,theexperimentalgroupⅠandⅢweresignificantlydifferent(P0.05)；theexperimentalgroupⅡandthecontrolgroupnosignificantdifference(P0.05)；ThedifferencebetweentheexperimentalgroupⅠⅡandⅢweresignificantly(P0.05).3.Comparedwithmodelgroup,serumMMP-9levelintheexperimentalgroupⅠ,groupⅡ,Ⅲ，controlgroupweresignificantlydifferent(P0.05)；Comparedwithcontrolgroup,theexperimentalgroupⅠandⅢweresignificantlydifferent(P0.05)；theexperimentalgroupⅡandthecontrolgroupnosignificantdifference(P0.05)；Th
