AbstractFromMarchtoJuly,2010and2011,theneststructureandnest-siteselectionoftheUplandBuzzard(Buteohemilasius)wasinvestigatedinWestbankofDalaiLakeinDalaiLakeNaturalReserve，InnerMongolia.FieldobservationfoundthattheearliestactivityofUplandBuzzardappeardonaroundMarch25；egg-layingbeganinthemiddleandlateAprilandthebreedingendedataboutthebeginningofJuly.Bythedirectobservationandplotsamplingmethodinthefield，wepositionedthirtynests,measuredtwentyecologicalfactorsofthisthirtysamples.TheClusterAnalysisbasedontheEuclideandistanceandthedistributionfrequencystatisticswereusedtoassessalltwentyecologicalfacto
