Abstract: Eight compoundswere isolated form the 95% ethanol extract of thewhole plants ofSalvia cavaleriei Lv.l On
the basis ofphysicochem ical properties and spectralmethods theywere identified as tritriacontane ( 1), myristyl dode
canoate ( 2), sitosterol ( 3), daucosterol ( 4), ursolic acid ( 5), 2a, 3dihydroxyursolic acid ( 6), betulinicacid ( 7),
rosmarinic acid ( 8). All of the compoundswere isolated from the stems of this plant for the first tmi e.
