Project Venture 2002-2003 Lesson Plan

Summary: Write a brief description of the lesson/unit that includes the content knowledge and skills that students should know and be able to do at the end of the lesson.
STANDARDS: Use AZ State Content and Technology Standards. Include only the standards and concepts that will be assessed and that are aligned with the major components of the lesson, using each standard’s reference # and description.
OBJECTIVES: Write objectives using Bloom’s taxonomy categories (knowledge ? comprehension ? application ? analysis ? synthesis ? evaluation). If you need help writing objectives using Bloom’s taxonomy, follow this link. Here are links to other hints for writing objectives and designing effective instruction.
Include concise and complete descriptions of what students are expected to learn.
ASSESSMENTs: How will student learning be assessed? What criteria or rubric will be used to evaluate the lesson/unit? Include a description of how students will meet standards and objectives. Also, attach the assessment (rubric, checklist, quiz, etc.) that effectively measures mastery of the content; be sure to include filename(s) or document titles. If you need help creating rubrics follow this link to an online rubric generator.
Pre-Requisite Knowledge: List all technology skills and content knowledge that students need to have prior to this lesson.
Learning EnvironmentS: Describe where the learning will take place and how students will interact with each other. Include location, time required (per day, week, month, or year), duration, and physical environment. State group dynamics and define students’ and teacher’s roles.

Include all tools and resources necessary for the lesson and reference them in the Procedures section.
