By doing research about the forming characteristics and ways of forming of the cylindrical workpiece, design the drawing and reverse drawing dies of the cylindrical workpiece. Firstly, analyse the manufacturability of the parts, by studying out the processing scheme and calculating the dimensions of the workblank , determining the drawing coefficient, finally by blanking, drawing dies and reverse drawing dies to draw the compound dies. Arrange the layout of the material reasonably so as to use the material fully. In the process of blanking ,drawing dies and reverse drawing dies, calculate the detailed manufacturability forces, including blanking force, unloading force, blank-holder force, drawing force, ejector force, etc. in addition, make a reasonable choice of the punching machine ‘s tonnage. Use the right-handed way for the structure of the compound die, calculate the dimensions of every part of the process upon request and design the reasonable structure of every workpiece. In order to make the structure design and material selection more reasonable, Draw the physical model and the assembly drawing of the model using the CAD, as well as analyse the stress related to the structure by using CAE, etc. Determine the shut height of the mould reasonably. In order to make the drawing successfully completed, we conduct a power check on the motor of the punching machine.
